Cache data
Only available on Sunbrowser profile, Cache data allows you to manage the cache of your profiles.
You can see the cache in different locations:
- Local Cache stored in your device.
- Cloud Cache stored in the could.
Note: To store cache in the cloud, please turn on the corresponding Data Sync settings in Global settings. This setting is disabled by default.
- Back up To store the backup cache, please turn on the Setting in Local Settings.
The backup cache is saved on your device and only the past 5 local snapshots are saved.
If you turn on this option, you can restore the cache from the past 5 local snapshots.
You can choose to delete a certain type of cache in a certain location but please note that this action may clear all info in the profile, such as the login status of websites.
Clear cache
You can clear cache in multiple profiles at once by using the Clear cache feature.
There are six types of cache that you can clear in the profiles.
- Local storage
- IndexedDB
- Extension data
- Cookie
- History
- Image and files (stored only in your device)
There are two locations of cache that you can clear.
On this computer: local cache, which is stored in your device
On the cloud: cloud cache, which is stored in the cloud server if you have turned on the Data Sync setting in Glocal Settings.
You can clear the cache according to your needs to save up more space on your device, but we suggest you proceed with caution.
