The disk space where the cache is located is not enough to open, please delete unnecessary cache

This error happens when you open a profile, usually due to a lack of free space on your disk.

If you encounter any difficulties or have further questions while implementing this solution, please don't hesitate to reach out to our online support team.

Step 1: Check the disk usage where the cache is stored

How to know which disk is the disk where the cache is stored?

Go to "Settings">"Local settings" and you can see the cache directory on the page. For example, on this page below, the cache is stored on the D disk. The disk usage is also shown on the page.

This error is usually caused by a high usage of the disk. Therefore, you can see that on the page, the "Current disk usage" is almost 100%.

Step 2: Check the free space of the disk where the cache is stored

After knowing which disk the cache is stored now, you can go checking about the free space left on this disk in your computer.

There will be two results of the checking:

1. The free space is still enough (the progress bar is blue), which means the problem may be caused by a lack of related access to your disk.

Therefore, please try:  reopen AdsPower by using "run as administrator."

2.  The free space is not enough (the progress bar is red), which means the problem may be caused indeed by the lack of free space.

If so, here are some suggestions for you to solve this problem:

1) Upgrade Hardware: Upgrade the storage capacity of the disk to better accommodate cache requirements, ensuring smoother performance.

2) Change the Cache Directory: Move the cache directory to a disk with more storage space. (After moving, please also copy the original cache file to the new disk)

3) Free Up Disk Space: Delete unnecessary files on the disk to make room for cache storage.

4) Clear Browser Cache: Here is the guide for how to delete cache: https://www.adspower.com/blog/browser-caching-optimization-guide

If none of the steps above are helpful, please contact our online support at the lower right corner of your AdsPower and inform them that you have completed all the troubleshooting steps above. They will provide you with further assistance.
